The LSU AgCenter’s mission is to provide the people of Louisiana with research-based educational information that will improve their lives and economic well-being. And one of our educational tools is this Web site. Please take a moment to scan through the wealth of topics. Use the search box to type in a subject of interest to you and see what you find.
Our Web site includes information about what we do and who we are. Get a quick look at some of our programs at Research Highlights and Extension Highlights. Go to AgCenter Leads to read a more complete story of our activities and accomplishments.
To see where we are physically located and how to get in touch with our experts, go to Our Offices. We have offices in each of Louisiana’s 64 parishes and 20 research stations across the state. In addition, our Baton Rouge-based faculty are housed in 11 departments on the LSU campus. The Directory lists all employees of the LSU AgCenter with contact information.

We keep improving our Web site as valuable source of information, and the site keeps getting more popular. It includes roughly 40,000 pages. Page views from last year totaled more than 32 million.
At the LSU AgCenter we aim to develop the best use of natural resources, conserve and protect the environment, enhance development of existing and new agricultural enterprises and develop human and community resources.
Visit our Web site often, and let us know how we can serve you better.
